Are you kidding me!!! "my freedom will be taken away" "I will have no choice"....

This is unbelievable, truly a mind-fuck that people are this delusional and this arrogant to not see how they are marginalizing a population of people looking for nothing more than equal rights.  Watch this TV Ad and put in "Latino" or "Black" or "Asian" or "Mixed Race" or "Women" and let's see how much it makes sense...

And now the religious right is responding with a national TV ad filled with fear about a same-sex marriage "storm" gathering across the country.

This is an equal rights issue, not a religious issue. Not everyone in America is Christian, not all Christians are against equal rights!

Vermont legalizes gay marriage with veto override

Vermont on Tuesday became the fourth state to legalize gay marriage — and the first to do so with a legislature's vote.

The House recorded a dramatic 100-49 vote — the minimum needed — to override Gov. Jim Douglas' veto. Its vote followed a much easier override vote in the Senate, which rebuffed the Republican governor with a vote of 23-5.

Go Midwest! Iowa upholds Gay Marriage Rights!

Iowa's Supreme Court has ruled that a ban on same-sex marriages in the US state was unconstitutional.

The judges rejected an appeal against a lower court's 2007 ruling that the ban violated the rights of gay men and women in the state.

The case stems from a 2005 suit filed by a New York-based gay-rights group on behalf of six gay and lesbian couples.

Iowa now becomes the third US state to allow same-sex marriages after Connecticut and Massachusetts.
